&lt;p class="Default"&gt;6.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; COBRA: Primary liaison between the City and its COBRA Administrator.&amp;nbsp; Enter new employee&amp;rsquo;s information into COBRA Administrator&amp;rsquo;s online system to notify them of new hires so initial notice information can be sent.&amp;nbsp; Responsible for requesting COBRA election forms for all employee/dependents who incur a qualifying event that requires COBRA to be offered.&amp;nbsp; Responsible for entering information when a former employee/dependent elects COBRA benefits and coordinating with insurance company to ensure coverage is reinstated properly. Respond to employees&amp;rsquo; benefits questions, holding meetings with employees as needed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;7.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Provide employees who are having benefits problems with contact information of insurance company staff who can assist them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;8.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Reconcile employee payroll withholdings with benefit provider statements and Payroll deduction reports. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;9.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Responsible for filing life insurance claims with providers for the employee&amp;rsquo;s survivors.&amp;nbsp; Responsible for assisting employees with the filing of Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability claims.&amp;nbsp; Respond to requests for information from the insurance carrier as needed.&amp;nbsp; Monitor and follow up on STD, LTD and life insurance claims status during the processing period. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;10. Function as liaison with Benefits Broker and outside benefits vendors on day to day routine matters. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;11. Maintain organization and filing of employee benefits related paperwork. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;12. Meet with employees who have been called to active military duty to explain the available payroll and benefits options. Complete the Military Leave form to document benefit elections and contact information.&amp;nbsp; Meet with employees following their return from Military Leave to reinstate benefits and update any necessary information.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;13. Notify Payroll to set up Military Leave banks for employees who are in the Reserves or National Guard.&amp;nbsp; Notify Payroll to add Military Leave time to an employee&amp;rsquo;s bank when they are called to active duty during an emergency situation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;14. Function as primary liaison between HR Department and Payroll/Accounting Divisions with regard to benefits.&amp;nbsp; Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis.&amp;nbsp; This includes creating maintenance sheets for any required change to an employee&amp;rsquo;s payroll deduction.&amp;nbsp; This also includes updating Benefits Connect with pay rate changes, job title changes, etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;15. Prepare and distribute employee communications regarding benefits. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;16. Responsible for primary duties in carrying out annual benefits Open Enrollment. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;17. Keep HR Department Manager informed of benefits issues, especially situations for which help is needed or problems are arising. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;18. Primarily responsible for handling Family and Medical Leave Act situations, including the issuance of FMLA paperwork. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;19. Act as a liaison between City of Fayetteville and Occupational Rehabilitation Clinic utilized by the City for its injured workers. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="Default"&gt;20. Troubleshoot employees&amp;rsquo; workers compensation problems encountered by employees, including but not limited to serving as point of contact for problem resolution between medical providers, Municipal League case workers, and injured employees. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Seeks and serves arrest warrants, search warrants and other court documents.&amp;nbsp; Assist various prosecutors and attorneys in preparation of cases for trial; assists judges during court sessions; testify clearly and truthfully in front of a judge and jury in court. 
&lt;li&gt;Direct and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic by use of hand signals and the blowing of a whistle.&amp;nbsp; Traffic control for blocked traffic, parades, accidents, special events; provide crowd control, security and information during special events. 
&lt;li&gt;Clean and fire a variety of police weapons, including pistols, rifles and shotguns both in the field and to meet department standards of proficiency. 
&lt;li&gt;Complete an inventory and operational check list on vehicle/equipment to ensure proper operations. 
&lt;li&gt;If assigned to bike patrol, have working knowledge and skills to maintain bicycle. 
&lt;li&gt;Type on mobile computer terminal in police vehicle as a means of gathering and exchanging information. Complete traffic/criminal citations issued to violators of city and state laws.&amp;nbsp; Investigate traffic accidents and report on the electronic system. 
&lt;li&gt;View crime scenes and identify/preserve physical evidence of a crime. 
&lt;li&gt;Write narrative reports as required in the performance of duty. 
&lt;li&gt;Respond to and deal with domestic disputes and resolve issues in a way that minimizes harm to the disputing parties.&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;li&gt;Deal with children of all ages in a variety of situations, such as delinquents, minors requiring authoritative intervention, neglected, abused, runaways, lost, found, victims of crimes, public relations and instructional functions and informants. 
&lt;li&gt;Provide interpersonal and business contacts and stand-by assistance in civil disputes. 
&lt;li&gt;Directs civilian employees and the public at the scenes of crimes, accidents, disasters, assemblies, etc.

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;3.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Responsible to ensure newly installed trees survive through proper care such as watering, mulching, fertilizing etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;4.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Prune trees using pruning shears, loppers, bowsaws, pole saws and chainsaws.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;5.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Connect to fire hydrants and other watering devices to fill portable water tanks. Use gasoline water pumps to deliver water to newly planted trees.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;6.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Use blueprints or other documents to locate and inspect tree and landscape plantings.&lt;/p&gt;
