N. Highland Avenue between W. Prospect Street and E. North Street - MAP

Mt. Comfort Road from Rupple Road to Porter Road

This road is currently under construction to be widened. Expect some delays as there are flaggers and one lane road at times. The North bound lane of Dean Solomon Rd. north of Mt. Comfort is now a gravel surface with some loose gravel. There are some rough driving surfaces on Mt. Comfort due to the utility crossings.

Township Street (west of College) between N College and Gregg

This street is under construction for widening. Driving surface is now asphalt, however the street has been narrowed down from N. College to Green Acres Rd. There will be flaggers from time to time to direct traffic. Please avoid driving on this portion of Township if at all possible due to traffic congestion.

Block Avenue between W. Dickson Street and W. Center Street - MAP

Construction will include water line installation, storm drainage upgrades, landscaping islands, sidewalk construction, asphalt overlay and street striping. Work will be conducted between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. as well as occasional overnights and will require the closure of one traffic lane or portions of both lanes at times. Some on-street parking areas may also be unavailable during construction.

Wedington at I540 Interchange

Arkansas Highway Transportation Department is adding turn lanes at this location to ease the traffic at this interchange. This is not a City Project.
